Not willing that any should perish . . . .

More than a half century ago Martinsburg’s business, church, and community leaders saw a need: provide for the homeless. They joined together and in 1960 opened the Martinsburg Union Rescue Mission. The mission has been caring for the homeless ever since.

The mission serves three meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to anyone who needs a meal, and provides shelter and support for men who would otherwise have no home.
